Watch Out for Monkeys!

Macaques are common here and can be bold. Don't bring visible food or snacks, and keep valuables secure. Don't feed the monkeys. Some visitors park at the bottom and walk up to avoid any vehicle damage from curious monkeys.

Pro Tip

For families, viewpoints 4 and 5 have proper platforms with safety barriers. Bring water, sunscreen, and a camera. Early morning visits are cooler and better for spotting wildlife (besides monkeys — look for peacocks and birds!).
