The same two days every month — and what to do if you have pets
Pest control runs to a fixed monthly schedule, which makes it easy to plan around once you know the dates.
When it happens
The last Wednesday and Thursday of every month. Same two days, every month, across all projects.
What gets treated
- Every project — the streets and the street drains are sprayed.
- Houses in the rental programme, and houses that have bought the spraying service — treated inside and outside as well, on those same two days.
Stay out of the house for 30 minutes after they have sprayed indoors. Let it settle, then go back in. It is a short wait and it is worth taking seriously rather than working around.
If you have pets
Just say so — there are two easy options and neither is a problem:
- Ask them to skip the indoor spraying this month. Tell the team when they arrive and they will do the outside only.
- Or take the animal out for a walk while they work, and come back once the 30 minutes are up.
